Football

Brighton Broncos Football was established during the 2011 Season.  We are part of the Tri County Football League.

  It is a full contact, tackle football program.  The purpose of this program is to teach the fundamentals of football, while teaching our youth proper sportsmanship, discipline and competition.

When/Where do we play?

Starting the first weekend after labor day, we play a nine-week schedule.  There is one game per weekend per team either on Saturday or Sunday.  Playoffs for the winning teams that qualify are played in the two weekends following the regular season.

Home Games are played at Schneider Park, located at 414 N. Maple St/State Hwy 111 in Brighton, IL.       

Away games are played in the participating communities within a 50-mile drive radius.  Field Address for away games can be found on the TriCounty Website.

Practices begin the first week of August every year. Practice times and dates are set by individual team coaches.  Since there is only a few weeks before the start of the game season, players are urged to attend every practice.
