Baseball / Softball

Brighton Athletic Association is part of the CISL for baseball and softball (Central Illinois Sports League).

The teams/towns associated with the CISL are as follows:
Brighton            Litchfield
Benld                Medora
Bunker Hill        Mount Olive
Carlinville          Shipman
Gillespie            Staunton


Teams are set based on a child’s age at the start of the corresponding school year.  Every effort is made to have players stay with the previous year teams, however there is no guarantee.  Teams may be changed based on need of players to establish teams.

Practice times and dates are set by individual team coaches.  Since there is only a few weeks before the start of the game season, players are urged to attend every practice

Game Schedules will be released as soon as they have been confirmed by the CISL.

Home Games are played at Betsey Ann Park or Schneider Park.
Away Games are played at the corresponding opponent's field.
